Meiner Hände Arbeit /
My Hand´s Work 

Von 2015 bis 2017 arbeitete ich als Kurier. Am Ende meiner Schicht wusch ich mir immer die Hände und stellte fest, wie viel Schmutz sich durch die Berührung mit hunderten von Briefen, durch das Sortieren und Verteilen sowie durch das Öffnen von Türen oder gelegentliche Reparaturen am Rad auf meinen Händen befand.

Ich beschloss daher, Handschuhe zu tragen. Zum einen, um die Hemmschwelle, mir selbst ins Gesicht zu fassen, zu erhöhen, und zum anderen, um meine Hände zu schützen. Nach kurzer Zeit begann ich, die Handschuhe und damit die Spuren der Arbeit auf ihnen zu sammeln.

From 2015 to 2017, I worked as a courier. At the end of my shift, I would always wash my hands and notice the amount of dirt that had accumulated on them from handling hundreds of letters, sorting and distributing them, and occasionally repairing my bike or opening doors.

I soon decided to wear gloves, not only to increase the barrier between myself and my face but also to protect my hands. After a short time, I began to collect the gloves and the traces of my work on them.
